My friend had his windows down in his RX inside of his garage. One night, a rodent must have climbed inside and started chewing on the wires, shift boot, random things in the interior... He brought it into Lexus and the little bastard caused close to $2k in damage

OP: stop by Ace Hardware and pickup some reusable rat traps, they are black from what I recall.

Get some cheap peanut butter and spread some traps.

Rodents don't like peppermint oil smell. It'll chase them away.

Reading this http://www.motor1.com/news/131833/wo...-tasty-wiring/ and couldn't help but think of this thread. It seems Toyota's have some tasty harnesses.

Haha thats funny! My girlfriend had her 2015 RAV4 wiring chewed up too, Toyota wouldn't cover it. I had no idea they used soy based wiring sheath.
