Mine will be a transformation thread. Current garage is 3 bays, but the garage doors are not configured to put in a lift. Ceiling is 11'8", so there's room (one of the reasons I didn't veto this home), but I'll need to completely change the garage door tracks and openers. I plan to put in the same lift Rickna has in his - they're not permanently mounted (unless you want them to be) so I can have my cake and eat it too. Compressor will be in the furnace room downstairs and piping into the garage with overhead connections on reels. Looking forward to starting this project next year...
Sounds like a good plan Lance. The maxjax lift I got is the newer model with automatic locks. It lifts to 47 inches which is perfect to sit down on a creeper seat. The garage door I have is a LiftMaster with a jackshaft 10 feet wide by 9 feet high so I can have the door open and the car on the lift.
Just finished my lighting I stall over last weekend. Gunna start doing some cabinets for more storage after I complete my second (mobile) workbench. Sorry for the crappy pic.
A few more . I have new prints in from my 17th and 18th ISF track day that wed to be hung up. I have a system to keep the garage looking fresh and new with new prints. One more reason to keep tracking !!

Come on that TO clean to be a garage next you will tell me you do your own oil changes LOL.
While it is a long way from clean and organized, I spent half the day rearranging my side of the garage. My truck and ISF fit with lots of room to spare.
