Nice White GTR on the freeway and I took few pulls, every time, I was embarrassed. lol.

My 2011 F is bone stock, but just wanted to have some fun, and see what the GTR was made of...

GTR didn't sound stock, looked like it may have had exhaust and some other mods maybe, but it may have been stock, killed me like I was sitting still, so makes me think it had a little something, or a lot I don't know, wasn't able to talk to the guy, and only time I've ever ran one. Could have been a Nismo one, but I'm not familiar with GTRs enough to tell.

Funny thing is I had my wife with me, and when I explained what the GTR was, how much power it had, how much they cost now (new), and that we would soon be getting smoked by it, she said "thats too bad because its so ugly"... LOL! But what does she know, lol.

 

Yup, GTRs are on another level.

 

I wonder if anyone with bolt ons has ran a stock say 09 gtr, my guess is we still loose pretty bad.

 

Yeah it's fast my car is fbo but after driving the gtr (2012 gtr with just catback exhaust), my F felt like a Camry

 

The more i think about it, the more i have to think he had some mods for sure, we slowed down to about 45-50 and hit it, and it looked like i stepped on the brakes. Would be like me running a Prius.

I don't know, if anyone has run a stock gtr vs stock isf, is that what it looks like? He had to have some stuff done to it. probably 6-700whp

I mean i know stock it has more power by A LOT, but this thing absolutely killed me. Much more than I would kill a car with 300hp (stock vs stock HP diff). Off the line i could see it but from a 50mph roll, it looked like off the line.

 

A guy has a stock 2012 GTR that lives near me in San Diego and I had a fbo F with about 150 ish weight reduction... he tried to take off on me and he was really surprsed he could not shake me.

lol, ya, i plan to keep this one stock. I knew he would kill me, even if he was stock, its ok, i don't need to be the fastest out there, i enjoy the F regardless. always be someone quicker even if i did mod it

 

gtr's are on another level for sure, i remember seeing the lfa go against it and lfa kept up with it so i can only imagine how slow the isf feels compared to the gtr.

i stand with you, there is always gonna be someone faster, enjoy the F

 

Bone stock they typically trap at 120+ mph. Having just bought a 15 gtr I can tell you that the difference is quite substantial

 

Drok is trapping 119-120 mph with his FBO and tuned IS-F as well....so id image highway pulls with an F like his would be a close one! He has the fastest NA IS-F ever recorded to date I believe.
And GTRs are definitely dude magnets, not chick magnets!!!
Also, getting killed when you know it's coming isn't so bad.... getting killed unexpectedly is a different story😬😬😬!!!! That's what happened to me vs a stock looking and sounding BMW 335i😕. Come to find out it had that JB4 tune or whatever it is that increases them 100+ who I believe, lol. As we've both had to find out the hard way, NA motors have a tough time hanging with modded twin turbo 6s!

Well, it's good you admit it, there are a few members here that are delusional and still think the IS-F is competing with cars way out of it's class...

 

I've raced quite a few gtrs this past year and have won probably 3 outta 10 at the drag strip but unfortunately it was due to bad gtr drivers not because our cars can hang. I'll report back next year with the supercharger!

 

Just for fun I overlaid a GT-R speedo over my IS-F, 0-100 mph.

Mods listed for the GT-R was Y-Pipe. Year unknown.
My ISF has PPE Headers, PPE Exhaust with High Flow Cats and RR Racing Tune.

It's pretty close if the GT-R doesn't use launch control.

 

Typical results of racing with a GTR......modded GTR's though do leave you like your not pressing on the gas and leave you standing still lol

Like everyone said above the GTR level of performance if on the next level and modded GTR's are 2-3 levels above us as they approach 800,900,1000 hp+
