Default Re-Upholstering?

Has anyone re-upholstered their seats? My '08 IS-F that I just got has some fading on the drivers seat that's becoming an eyesore. Please chime in if anyone has had this done. Thanks!!

I replaced mine. The covers from Lexus are about $1500 for seat and back. It takes about three hours start to finish if you've done upholstery before and have the proper hog ring tools and hog rings. It's not fun. I would charge $400 for labor if I did it for someone else just because I wouldn't really want to do it, kind of like how I charge $3k for cylinder head porting a 2JZ - it's not my ordinary line of work and I won't do it for any less. The upside is, your seat is really just like brand new.
