I was under the impression that front strut bars have little to no impact to vehicle rigidity if the front suspension is a double wishbone set-up. It's explained in detail in this video from Engineering Explained.
I know this sounds like a trivial way to test rigidity but... I always jack a car up from on corner until the entire side of the car is off the ground. I then check all panel gaps and open and close all doors. If there isn't any binding and difference in the gaps (neither of which happens with the isf) then Imo bracing won't make a difference.. That being said.. I'm installing a f sport rear chassis brace because it looks cool, and I found it on Craigslist for a steal.

So if you remember I bought an RCF strut bar complete and test fitted it to see if does fit but requires modification. (still have it for sale by
the way)
I was not done with my search for more rigidity my search of previous post should that ISX50 strut bars would fir the F so I found these Ultra Racing 2pt. Front Strut Bar UR-TW2-830 For 2006-2013 Lexus IS250. What I liked about these it here is no pivot points they are solid pieces that mount to the top hats. Got the front and rear sets on ebay cost less then 300 for the set and test fitted and sure enough fits no modification needed. Now they only come in white so had them powder coated black for that oem look!
I sure the F is rigid from factory but the IS F CCS-R has additional bracing so Im sure it provides some benefit.
what are those cables coming out from the top of the rear struts? Are they safe to just unbolt to slip the brace

Reason: Re phrase
It is a 100% real carbon fiber bar, (not just coating over metal) just like Formula1 suspension parts :-)
Nice brackets made from Aluminum 6061A Aerospace-reinforced alloy
I say it it looks OEM :-)
It can be removed in seconds if full trunk space needed.
FEEDBACK: Nothing major. There is a noticeable difference in rear flex when pulling out of my steep driveway to the street. Felt very good when pushing the car into the long right sweep turn and quite noticeable in a fast 180 degree U-turn. These are offered in real CF or full Aluminum 6061A Aerospace-reinforced alloy. Overall pretty excited about it. I was told, these are discontinued already, so I snatched one of the last ones.

@Rossi Does your car have the F-sport (PTR02-53081) or any other aftermarket chassis brace(s) in the rear besides this one? Trying to get a feel for baseline comparison.
