First let me apologize if this is a re-post but i could not find what i am looking for. In short im new to the forum,just bought a 2011 ISF used. I dont have the original owners manual and im lookin for the radio/navigation security code

Can i retrieve it from my car before i need it?
Do i need a master code?
How can i retrieve the code i may need in the future ?

 

I'm pretty sure a lexus dealer can look it up via Vin number. Just call them up or take it in and they most likely will help ya out, congrats on the new purchase.

 

Is that a newer security feature? I never needed a code on my 08.

 

There is a phone book lock out and the default code is "0000"........the dealer cannot reset this code for you if it was set by the previous owner.

You probably have to reinitialize the phone book and wipe the old info out. Not sure how you can do this with the functions locked?
