I was super careful taking them off. Someone suggested I might have damaged the posts that move the mirror. If that's the case I might throw up

Since this is a possible solution, does anyone have the Toms LED side mirrors?

Those have a weird shape. It's a rather small place to place them. From what I've seen on here these are the ones people suggest, and they're the ones I went with.

I have the flat ones in the visor lights, they work very well.

I am sure it's cause the mirror isn't pressed in all the way. It's really hard to get your fingers behind the mirror to snap it back into place. I had the same problem but once i got it into place properly, it was all good again

FIgured out the problem. The bottom clips weren't popped in completely. Guess I was afraid of pushing too hard and breaking my baby already. lol. thanks for the help all.

BTW, does anyone have a suggestion for a well fitting blind spot mirror? The one I picked up from parts store looks odd with the shape of our mirrors

I've been looking around for the same. I haven't found the right ones yet either.

I tried an advanced search but did not see anything relating to this. When I have the side mirror switched to driver side and put car in reverse the mirrors aim down as they should but upon switching it to drive the drive side mirror goes back to its normal position but the passenger overshoots and aims up at the sky. Before I go ripping the car apart I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue? Thanks!

I'm happy with mine. My Girl Friend found them a couple of years ago. They do the trick for me.

Glad you found the fix. Same thing happened to my car. Just needed a little push and shove!

My interior rear view mirror is the one vibrating all the time. Loud music or if I have the windows open at anything about 40 mph makes it shake bad.

Mine's been doing that too. I'm gonna have to take a look, it started after the mirror was removed for tint

If tightening up the hardware doesn't work try making a shim.

Actually there was a TSB on this 7 or so years ago.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ew-mirror.html

I had mine done way back when. The affected mirror had the buttons on the bottom of the mirror facing down. The replacement mirror has the buttons below the mirror facing straight back.

According to the TSB this was done on my F by the original owner. Although, it is the older style mirror. Besides, after the work I did I wouldn't want anyone else touching it.
