Default Need Help on O2 sensor DIY

Hello everyone!
I'm planning to replace my Bank 1 sensor 1 oxygen sensor, after having on going issue with the CEL, VSC light coming on and off from time to time.

Code: P2237, P2238
Current Mod: PPE headers with decoder, Borla full exhaust, cat removed.

I had done the downstream sensors replacement few years ago with help of many CL members. However, I had never done one for upstream Bank 1, sensor 1. I had done some research and find very limited DIY.

I would like to see if anyone can help me on:

1. confirm the location on the Bank 1 sensor 1 sensor (driver side of the headers?)

2. Exactly how to get access to it? (can I do it from the top of the engine base or do I have to left the car up and work on it from the bottom) Can I replaced it like this DIY on a IS250 (even with the PPE headers installed) : http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/for...1-replacement/

3. confirm I have the right replacement sensor: Denso 234-9048

Thank you very much for your help!

1. Yes bank 1 sensor 1 is the driver side on the ISF
2. With our headers on, you can get to everything from the bottom of the car. It is screwed in the header right before the outlet flange .

I would also check the wiring extension if it is heat damaged or melted, it can cause these codes .

3. Not sure the exact PN .

Lightbulb

You mean the A/F Sensor attached to the manifold / headers..

Doesn't matter what side but if you're going to do both the part numbers are the same.

Lexus Part No.: 89467-53020
SENSOR, AIR FUEL RATIO

Denso Part # 234-9048

Get some shielding for the new sensor wire harness
