Instead of using the Lexus crush bent gaskets, use the Aluminum Bosal ones for the Lexus ES300 from 1993 rockauto. Much better quality, no smelly gutted cat smells in the car, and they won't disintegrate over time.

Bosal 256-287

The exhaust shop re-positioned the hanger. I'm not sure which way he did but it gave more clearance between the muffler and the under body heat shield.

Also note that when you guys do install you have to cut a 1/2" off of the tips as they do hit the quad tips. ( I added it to the install tips)

Other than that i have no vibrations or noises. Fits nice in its designated tunnel perfect

Keep in mind that some people are more sensitive to noise than others so my opinion may not be the same for everyone, however, I am pretty "****" about my car.
I like it a lot better now after the hanger has been re-positioned and the drone is gone. This exhaust has a throaty sound. I would say about twice the sound of the stock note but not obnoxious. You can definitely hear the V8 rubble during idle. Highway/normal is very tolerable where it doesn't drive you crazy from a constant purring. Now at WOT is where I love the most. In the stock configuration, the intake sound is noticeable but with this exhaust, it almost drown the intake note out but not quite which I love. One thing I do notice is during deceleration, I can hear a faint popping sound in the exhaust. Not sure what that is. The MPG went down from ~19 MPG to ~16.5 MPG (50/50 HWY/CITY) without resetting the ECU. Last night I'd reset the ECU and drove around my normal route and the MPG is back up and hovering ~18.3 MPG. I'm not too worry about this but this is what I'd observed. You got to pay to play. It's not a perfect fit but nothing is perfect and for the money, it's not bad. Hope this help.

I had to cut the tip as well. Not a big deal.

and thanks neweyslex - im pretty much the same, had an ISS Forged which I think droned too much for my liking and now have a HKS axle which is too quiet so was looking at custom mid but for the same price I can get the x force setup so considering going that way!

cheers.

Nice review. I wonder why they supplied gaskets that apparently don't work? The is-f is picky about the seal between the manifold and the exhaust, as I had a CEL the first time I installed a Joe-z exhaust on my car.

Seems like the hangers would be simple enough to change that they would want to do so in order to sell more in the US. Or maybe you could fab up some clamps and hangers on the side for beer money for those that don't want to mess with it.
