I have the Passport Max. Love the damn thing and it even has the digital speedo on it . Helps at the track with video because I can see my track speed on the video.

The MAX 360 is a rip off. The Max 360 is not $300 more detector than the Max

For those with the V1.. Is there a way to disable the X and K band so it doesnt alert and go off. I went through the owners manual again last night and switched it to the advanced Logic setting ( where its supposed to ignore them) but im still getting the hits and audible alerts.

Am i missing something or is this how you do it?

The Advanced Logic controls K-band programming options, once you disable K-band, it doesn't really matter what mode you're in.

For pure highway drivers, the best options are the Escort Redline, beltronics sti-r and radenso pro SE

I got myself the radenso pro non se. Can't wait to get it.

The escort 9500ix is an average radar detector now. So many many more radar detectors out there that will out perform it easily. Uniden lrd950 is one.

Wait so are you saying the passport 9500ci has a laser blocker? I though to block Laser you needed a whole separate unit for that?

I cannot technically explain why they are better. They probably better amplifiers in there to boost sensitivity. The v1 is no slouch though
