Based on my unscientific review of cars.com, it appears that the LS460 ("flagship") is depreciating much faster than the IS-F sport sedan. Any theories regarding this?
Supply and demand? Higher quantities of the LS produced (I assume) vs IS-F make the former a more readily available good. It's a perennial buyer's market for the LS.

much like the m3 with bmw. "special" models always keep their value better.
I had an LS460 before my F. It's the deal of the century right now. If my daughter was in high school I would get her a used LS460. Safe, safe , smooth, luxurious, and huge....oh yeah safe too lol.
They are beautiful cars !!!!
I was 17 when I got my first LS. just about killed my damn self 15 times in that thing driving like an A-hole. great if you can afford to give your 16 year old an Ls460 to learn how to drive in, but my god that's playing with trouble. its safe, and huge, but a VERY powerful car, and when your going 120+ MPH, it doesn't matter how many air bags, crumple zones, or safety features the car has, if something happens at that kind of speed youre hamburger meat.

Here in Canada the GS cars are also depreciating faster than the ISF. A 2013 GS can be had for as little as $35K while a 2013 ISF will be in the mid $40K or more range.
