Always kept the oem parts prestine for trade in or SMOG if applicable.

I wasn't concerned about the trade in value.. Bute More so of needing perfect working OEM parts when necessary.

So what is have decided I'm going to do after reading a couple more threads and watching some more videos is either remove the resonator, mufflers, or both and replaceven it/them with straight pipes.

if you have aftermarket headers just remove the mufflers and straight pipe it. if you have stock headers remove both.

Thanks for the advice man. I'm going to remove the Mufflers and depending on the sound I will remove the resonator too.

I had a Y pipe installed where the seconds cats and resonator were for 400$. Did it because I was not patient and getting a system to Canada would have taken longer than having the shop do it in 2 hours. Sounds better but it is still restrictive AF. Winter is here and it's been parked. I will be getting headers and a full system sometime soon, but I would recommend getting a built system. It is tight down there before the mufflers.

[Hey,
I've been meaning to update this thread with a video but I did the Muffler Delete about a week ago and couldn't be happier! Sounds great at acceleration from about 2k-4.5k RPMs. Much higher pitched than I had expected, which I am very happy with.

Sounds good.... but you really shouldn't rev your car like that with the engine oil temp at one bar.

Haha I know but I was so damn excited. Gave it a few revs at 2k then a few at 3 and so on. Didn't go straight to that just wanted the engine ignition in the video. But you are definitely right
