Default Arkym diffuser install help needed

Hey guys, so I'm at the end stages of my used Arkym install but for some reason the two tabs that I have to reinstall into the diffuser don't seem to be long enough to lock in place. They pull right out easily. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Had this with one on mine.

Think the shop that fitted it may have damaged the area it locks into? If you look closely, you'll see even if you pull out the centre and locate the body of the fitting in place, there's a huge gap around it.

I've left it for now, but best solution is a grommet or reducer you can fit to allow the fixings to seat tighter.

Hope that makes some sense?

Other option is to sikkaflex them into place, but that would be a PITA if you wanted to remove them for any reason at a later stage.

Just needs a grommet or similar to reduce the size of the holes.

Yea, the tabs were to short so I just used a bolt, washer, lock washer and nut. Perfect solution, looks and seems very secure. I'm going to paint them black to blend in and it's all good!
