I am finishing up the install on a set of PPE headers in my garage on jack stands. The process is pretty time consuming, so you'll want to have at least a full day maybe two if you run into complications. You don't need a lift but definitely have to drop the subframe, which honestly wasn't as scary as I thought it would be.

The drivers side header provides lots of room for swivel sockets and extensions but the rear most nuts on the passenger side are toughies. I ended up cranking down a ratcheting wrench on them and scraping myself up pretty good in the process.

I marked the subframe mounting locations and think I have it back pretty much exactly where it was. We'll see after I get the alignment checked.

First startup noticed a bit of smoke coming from a couple locations but could be the oils from my hands burning off and also the gasket sealer I used. I'm going to monitor it under another cold start once it cools down to determine if I need to re-set any of the exhaust.

Overall would have been easier with a friend who knows how to wrench on cars but it definitely is doable to do it yourself.

Thank you Lobuxracer for answering the questions I had earlier.

Tip: for the passenger side header, it's way easier to tighten the rear top bolts if you go at it from the top and remove the battery and whatever ecu is underneath. It's almost impossible to reach the last top bolt from underneath the car. The rest of them are not so bad.
