lol, I'm not lying...I don't have a reason to lie as I'm just trying to show the difference between me and someone else who I raced when I first got my car (to try and keep it comparable).

First race I had with him I was stock with 5,000km on the clock. He had his cat-back and below are the results:

Second race I had the PPE Headers installed and he had the same cat-back exhaust:

Final video is with Joe-Z and PPE headers. I am also surprised at the difference, ESPECIALLY on low end torque and take off. Before installed the exhaust he would always get me from 1st to 3rd. But on my last race as you can see things have changed:

What I'm surprised about is no one pointed out the M3 color changed . He re-painted his car a few months back and added some cf parts, so I'm surprised no one noticed that .

I don't have Nos and if I did I wouldn't lie about it, I don't see the point in putting up false stories as it won't make me feel any better

The outcome could have been different if we did 3 consecutive races but we didn't have the time or space to do that. I was lucky I bumped into him to get this run down as I've been trying for the past 2 months to get a race setup.

Also don't forget I consider him as being pretty close to stock. all he has is a cat-back exhaust and the E92 M3 is much lighter than the ISF. He still has a list of mods to do and the X-pipe and Re-map should improve his car considerably.

If he ever gets around to ordering and installing the parts then I'll post the outcome here for you guys to compare. He still has a lot he can do to his car, whereas I'm stuck now, the only thing I can do from here is Nos.

^^You know what's crazy about those videos is how much of a choke point the stock exhaust and 4 cats are on the IS F! You see that the car pulls with the PPE headers after 4th gear and begins to pull at that point, but the headers are waiting to release with a good exhaust set-up and it shows with the video of the addition of the Joe Z!

So by this graph changing the exhaust from joe-z to borla netted you a 20whp+ gain? Joe Z is that crap or what?

^^^^Again, NOT MY GRAPH. It was posted awhile ago on this forum and I kept it. The RWHP difference is 17 between the two, and can probably be explained by the 22° difference in temperature.

Well the humidity went up significantly and can negate the temp differential possibly

Like many of u guys I have the Joe Z/PPE/No Cats combo and I'm not buying this video. The F is very fast with this setup but to dust an M3 like it was standing still just doesn't add up. Was the M3 a 6 speed manual and the guy missed a shift? That video is what I expect a GT-R to do to an M3, not an F.

Maybe race from a roll again, to take out the traction variable?

Well the first race we had he spun and we stopped for the second race which I posted. I asked him if he slipped and he didn't as you can see from 2nd to 3rd gear he's still accelerating...I'm just accelerating faster.

The M3 is not manual, it has that DCT transmission. His car revs to like 8,400rpms and shifts fast.

I don't know what else to say other than every car and driver is different, and this guy knows how to drive his car as he's shown in the first two races.

I can race him from a roll, but I'm sure I'll pass him even earlier as before he would always gain on me from a dig.

At the end of the day I won't post a video that's been played with that's all I can say. Car and driver are always variables when it comes down to it.

Default Love this....

Love this man. To actually see the difference. I understand each race is difference, but the length of car distance is incredible.

I just bought my F. Has a Borla cat back on it. Debating whether to do Sicky headers or PPE.

Did your friend also paint his car from black to white as its clear as day the first cars black as shown in the reflection of your paint. Can't wait till an RCF finds a new M3/M4 on the highway and just records themselves pulling away claiming they smoked him with their new sweet greddy cat back. Drive safe everyone.

Wow, an E92 owner first..... This discussion wasn't even about the RCF and the F80/82 M. It was solely to show how much power is gained from headers and exhaust on the ISF because how much the 4 catalytic converters choked the car. Nothing more, nothing less.

Yup he painted his car, look at my build thread below you'll see pics of his car on the 3rd page I think.

Being that you have the QES exhaust and PPE headers, do you notice the same amount of power? Or more? I think you mentioned you raced a few M3's, was the results the same? How about against a 2015 m3 or m4? I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on your setup. I was neck and neck with an M4 almost a month ago. He had a slighter edge but I held right next to him. I'm still stock and was impressed that I was able to keep up. The driver actually gave me thumbs up! We were well over triple digits.
