changed headlights...now i have issues...please help
I recently replaced my headlights so i removed the bumper and i made sure i hooked up everything back together when i installed it back...
When everything was ok,i started the car to test everything....at first, the DRL was'nt working,i thought i forgot to connect it...but im sire i did....after about 1 min.,the DRL lit up,here's the other issues....
1. "check sonar" on the front...left and right,so i double checked and its hooked up properly
2. "AFS off" trying to turn it on,but it wont...
do i need reset the ECU To solve these issues?
TIA

Did you upgraded to the LED headlights?
If you did, the AFS light will not go away and keep on blinking. Some members said you can take the dash apart and put tape to hide the light. The reason is because the LED headlights do not have AFS.

1. Something's up with one of the sensors. If they seem to be plugged in properly, maybe you pulled a wire in the process of removing or reinstalling the front bumper. Try to find out which sensor isn't working by putting something in front of one of them and putting the car in drive.
2. What Zelfiris said. You can either pull a fuse, in which case you will also lose the auto-leveling function, or remove the cluster and tape over the light. I opted for the latter which took me about 30 min. I think there is a thread on the 2IS forum detailing the process.
