What am I doing wrong?
After unsuccessful attempts to get 12s in 1/4 mile, i decided to post a video of my personal acceleration run. I am on PSS tires, fresh oil change, and new air filter. I also did a mini-burnout to help warm up tires and clean them. As for mods, i have a full custom 2.5 inch x pipe exhaust to borla mufflers. No secondary cats or resonator. Can you guys help chime in?
Edit: Sorry for the shaky cam. The road had misc bumps. I know i over choked first gear.....harder to get traction.

What times are you running? A little trick I've always used at the drag strip is putting a little over a 1/4 tank of gas, depending on how many runs I make. You have about 3/4 of a tank which would be around 75lbs. Spare tire and jack can be left out also. Anything helps.

^^Great tip. i always run the 1/4 with 1/2 tank gas on 91 shell. I never removed the spare, tools, or cargo mat. Although it is advise to do so, i feel the isf should run 12s straight from factory.
Loose the trunk stuff and run with less gas. Read through the weight reduction thread also. Check the official drag sticky, I'll be running the local 1/8 mile again Friday, this time with a giken 350 diff!
turn off traction half way only and don't bounce off the rev limiter. On a stock 2008 isf the fastest i got in 85 degree weather at sac raceway in cali was 12.89 but all my other runs were 12.99 to 13.11
Did you achieve those times on Wednesday night drag or test and tune?
