i still love it too. The M4 is lighter 12.3 1/4 mile versus our 13.1 1/4 stock. He was just so geeked after he beat me kinda got to me a lil bit lol.

I think the isf would be perfect at 600 whp. Enough to play with the big boys. I got beat by a m5 the first month I bought my F, big kick in the nuts.

It's true, I've seen a few m4's being dynoed around 415-420.

Ok now i dont feel so bad. But even though i had some heavy 20 inch rims on it was a close race.

It's gonna get worse, my buddy at work started bragging to me the other night, that the m4 got a new tune/flash. For just under 1k you can be making a whopping 635whp! He really wants me to go over the bimmer side, but I simply can't. I Love the F for what it is. Yes I do wish it made more power but it is what it is.

Why don't you just let your ECU learn, put the 19s on and have a rematch? BMW makes stupid fast cars and they have tuning support... But it seems like the M series can't handle it's own power. Those things just break and break.
Honestly, the only reason I own an F over all is the reliability. You can pay any amount for speed, but what you can't buy is reliability.

Men he beat you fair and square! Look no more they are fast and if he is modded forget about it ! here in pr those cars modded are trapping 129 mph
Stock i think 116mph 114mph.

A stock F here usually runs 110-112mph

A heavy modded F w nos and all bolt ons, they run 123-125 mph ,so the numbers dont march no matter what
Wheels ,etc you try ! that bmw will hunt and wear you out every day ! Sorry it is what it is!

I've yet to race a modded one, but they do make power really easily. I doubt an m3/m4 could stay with a Nitrous ISF off the hit, but have to find a race to see what actually happens.

What a stupid comment. It's a car, big deal.

Fast shifts are not as important as lighter weight and more torque..the M4 is a beast in stock form. I think from a roll - it would have been slightly closer.

+ I used to own an E46 M3.....sadly, even with their big support of aftermarket parts, you can't buy reliability. Even in stock form, it was a pain to maintain and parts just kept breaking.

13.1 is way on the slower side of magazine times. Quicker magazine times for the IS-F usually have us in the 12.5-12.7 @ around 113-114mph.

Which in turn is about equal to this 2014 Porsche Carrera in this comparo vs. the M4.
http://www.caranddriver.com/comparis...e-specs-page-4

The M4 in that comparo is the DCT version so it's knocking on the doors of 11s. Those thing sure do move in the 1/4, too bad they sound like complete and utter sh&t doing it. If you guys kept going you would've smoked him since he's governed to 155 and we can keep going till 172. Lol.

That is why I asked, I have driven several '15 M3's-4's, including an M4 with 5700 miles that had been in for the initial service and supposed release from the 'break-in' tune. Sounds like BS to me, as they all ran about the same. Those turbo cars definitely run hard, it is rather deceiving.
