I assume it's essentially plug and play aside from adding the resistors?
Plug and Play. I installed them myself. This link is for the smoked version. I have the red ones.

I think the smoked lights look good too. Looks darker on Ebay (which I don't prefer) but picture you have looks good.

Highly recommend.
That's awesome that the lights are working still, sounds like they are put together well, close to if not OEM spec quality?

For anyone interested. I ordered both sets of SpecD in red and red smoke.
I was wanting a deeper red, possibly even darker than OEM, but the "smoke" finish looked 95% black on specd's site. I ordered red and was going to vinyl overlay them, but decided to risk it and get both since the return policy was pretty lenient.
Will seal them up just in case and update with installed pics soon.

That is a great contribution to the community. The smoked ones are perfect.
Unfortunately, I ordered the red ones having the same thoughts about the smoked set looked being too dark.
Now I wish I had the smoked ones for sure.

BTW, The quality of these taillights is superb, I had them for more than a year and absolutely looking brand-new still. Zero issues .

Thank you! I was also pretty worried, since I saw two different photos with the one on their website being this dark(like the one attached). Glad I went with both as darkening them with vinyl, would have cost about $75-100 more. Have you had any condensation or installation issues?

Did anyone ever find a set for the later model years? The only one I have found is http://www.ebay.com/itm/2006-2012-fo...tYU4g8&vxp=mtr and the page looks sketchy.

I believe the Spec D's work on later model years. I have a set (in red) that I am about to install on my 2011.

I don't have an F but I've had the red spec-D's on my 2012 350 for maybe a year with zero issues. They were advertised for 06-08 model years. I did a review a while back in the 2IS section on spec-D versus Nigel's: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...omparison.html
