Borla Catback Clearance
Been getting some squeaking noises after installing the Borla Catback, looks like the exhaust is shifting 3/4" front and back.
I took it back to the exhaust shop where I had it installed and of course it was perfect when I got there but tonight I saw the exhaust is actually touching the faux tips on the bumper.
Will be bringing it back again soon but anyone else having this issue? I can understand an exhaust going up and down with bumps but front and back? It happens when the exhaust is cold or hot and the clamps look good last time I was down there.

Yup, just couldn't duplicate the problem when it was up on the rack. I even went under there and shook the hell out of it. It had about 3/4'' space too.
Sounds pretty good. I hardly listen to music in the car anymore.
Would be perfect if it didn't have that low RPM drone. Sometimes I find myself downshifting if Im going up a long hill just to avoid the drone.
On the flip side, I also down shift for the blip ROAR almost under ever overpass and tunnel =) and drive pretty aggressively whenever I can

even after you adjust it 'perfectly,' the heat causes the metal to expand. happenend to my borla when i had it on and happens w/ my new straight pipes, too. after the car warms up and exhaust get's hot, it'll move about 1/2 inch towards the rear bumper. when i had my borla, i would loosen the rear bolt to the muffler that would tap against the rear diffuser, hit and try to move the muffler towards the front (to try and make it tighter, if that makes any sense), then tighten the bolt again. i still got some contact and squeaking after really thrashing on the car and eventually gave up. it only went away after i cut out the middle resonator, for some reason. gL.
