So guys, I've got the Check VSC message at first, then I got the brake/abs light, but those two lights only come on as the headlights come on. It's a weird problem, but anyone got any leads on it?

I did a few things over the weekend though.

1) Coilovers
2) GS front control arms
3) Rear SPC camber arms
4) LED front Turn signal bulbs
5) Rear LED Reflectors
6) Alignment

I know I did a bunch of stuff all at once, but I never removed the abs wires on the hub when doing the coilovers/arms, and it didn't rest on it.

But if it was an issue like that, I don't see why the dash lights would come on, until the headlights came on.

You may want to start with calibrating the streering.

How do you do it? I know on my SC430 I had to jump two pins on the OBD Port.

Techstream is the only way.

I wouldn't touch this one with a 10' pole. Right, Lobux?

There are people who have used them successfully. I can't comment because I have no experience with them.

I'll have my TS clone cable here tomorrow. Will try it out, will report back in on my findings

I have the Xhorse cable with the actual techstream software and I can do everything without issue. It was a little bit of a pain to setup but has been fine beyond that.

Some one either pulled on the abs harness or damaged the abs speed sensor. Check the harness if it is ok then it should be the speed sensors you can replace them aftermarket or factory. Oem will run you about $600. Aftermarket should be about $350.

For one who is interested the cable works out great.

I had a few pending engine codes, and quite a few abs codes

All speed sensors and yaw rate, had output low. Did the zero point calibration, cleared codes, changed the front led out, and new battery today. The battery had be doing the slow cranking, so I think the battery was the main culprit so far so good

Update,

No ABS or Brake lights anymore, but after awhile I got the check VSC warning again. My alignment is a little off, I didn't realize it until I put my new wheels on.

I haven't had a chance to get her back to alignment shop though

Sounds like a bad ABS Module, or wheel sensor. I'm new to Lexus, but with Bosch ABS modules in BMW's when the module fails or starts failing it throws ABS, DSC (VSC), Brake light. The ABS and Brake light will be intermittent but the DSC (VSC) will be constant.
