SC430 was designed for geriatric cruising on sundays. The ISf was designed to kill an M3 .....or at least to step to it...

No.

My first SC430 developed a potential transmission issue that I didn't want to deal with. Sold it.

My current SC430 has been trouble free, except being rear-ended a couple of times.

Yes, I've had two. I'd buy a third if I have to. But no, I will never buy an IS-F.

Had both, just recently sold my SC430 for the F.

The SC was nice, comfortable car, but nothing like an F. It was nice to take my small family (dad, and wife) on a small road trip to visit my sister's. The car is definitely twice as fast as the SC. Plus the F is mean looking.

I always thought the SC430 was more of a "single rich wanna-be soccer mom "car and apparently so does Forbes magazine calling it "Best car for 45-year old single women" lol

While a 45-year-old single woman has the same desire to remain fun and sparky as a man, the growly, ferocious Corvette may not be the right match. The cute, user-friendly Lexus SC 430 convertible is more like it. As a Lexus, it is a status symbol that shows one has attained a certain level of wealth. As a roadster, it sends a far different message than the Lexus RX 330 SUV, a popular choice for suburban moms. The SC is a more urbane, hip and sexy car. Supermodel Tyra Banks drives one.

Other than that The SC is NOT really in my eyes a sports car. Its more geared towards the Luxury Convertible than sports where the IS-F is very well tuned as a high performance sports car

^^LMAO. Regardless of whether the OP is trolling or not, just get a SC400, swap in a 2jZ and call it a day. There's a guy with the aforementioned setup with the license plate 'V12EATR' ...... yeah enough said.
