sounds like a stretch to me, but to each his own. I have had custom plates on all of my cars. No drama.

 

"IS EFF" is still available

 

Mine is red edition (a special NZ edition) number 8 of 10, so I got "IS F 8" with red lettering. The 8 could be for V8, or the plate could be read as "is fate" (F8). Originally it had ISFOO8, but the first owner changed it for another vanity plate, and the dealer couldn't get it back. Probably didn't try very hard, though.
