DVD Navigation Update & Beat Sonic Lexus 2008 IS F
Hello guys,
I'm an new owner of a Lexus IS F 2008 (and my first question, I wanted to buy the latest DVD Navigation disk on Ebay but which one I need ??
I successfully remove the DVD I got in the car and it is mark North America U32 D, at the bottom it's DATA ver 07.1
and about that Beat Sonic, I'm in Montreal and is there some Canada Online store that got that module... I think it is the best option to bypass the navigation and DVD Player.... ???
Thank you very much for your help

I believe our NAV systems in our F cars (and any newer Lexus) can only be updated by USB stick and with a laptop done at the stealership.
Correction: I just checked Sewell and noticed that the USB NAV update is for 2010 and up. So you would buy the DVD. Check Sewell as you can buy the update from them.

To find out what the newest update is available for your Lexus.
http://www.lexusnavigation.com/what-to-order/
To save some money. Go to ebay. And try to find someone who just updated their Nav Disc. And are selling last years version

Hey thank you all for your advice !
I will try to contact the member who sell the Beat Sonic to see if he can still have the model for my car... and it should be easy to install for a newbie like me ?

Honestly, since I got a Galaxy S5 for work and a Nokia 1020 for personal, I never use the Lexus nav. It can't find anything easily, it makes you turn three rights when a left would be simple. The voice recognition doesn't. I can't think of anything it does better as long as you have GPS visibility. Yes, it does dead reckoning because it has more inputs from the car, but that's it. Nothing else it does beats either of my smartphones.
I won't spend another dime on nav updates.
