No, that's not the solar sensor, and the DTC is for the solar sensor. Does your auto function for the lights work? Lexus uses the same sensor for the lights on and off function.

When your lights are on Auto - do they come on and go off with ambient light?

so the problem is either wiring (loose connector, bad pin - yes this happens, it happened to my Supra), or the A/C ECU is confused. Do the other functions work? Can you control the vents, turn on heat (yeah, I know it's pretty hard to get heat working this time of year), use the defroster? In fact, the defroster would be a great test because it turns on the A/C to dry the air. Hit your front defrost and see if it puts out cold air. If it does, you probably have a wiring problem between the light sensor and the A/C ECU.
The sensor is working because your lights turn on and off with the sensor, just not working correctly for the A/C ECU.

at this point I would simply take it in to the dealership and let the pros fix it. This stuff will drive you nuts but to them its a simple walk in the park for the techs

Long shot but did you by chance mess with your Headlight swivel ECU Assembly?
Theres a pin for the A/C Amplifier that runs thru A27 Headlight swivel ecu...If you unplugged the ecu because of 11' headlights that may be your problem. Kind of reaching but thats the only thing I know of that could be an outside issue to your problem.
The entire circuit is J58 pin 31 (MPX-) to JA3 pin 7 to A27 pin 5 (MPX1) to A27 pin 6 (MPX2) to A29 pin 8 to J10 pin 4 to J34 pin 6

I dread taking ANY car to the dealer as its always a headache and less than average experience. Maybe its me or the dealers nearby but its a nightmare. lol

Yeah bringing my car to the dealer is my last choice. Well when I did the front defroster test , I notice the air is slightly colder but still not exactly cold lol( if that made sense )
My buddy is coming over today to check my ecu wiring pins and hopefully that's the problem
