I'm getting my windows tinted this week and the current MN laws are 50%. I did this percentage on my CTS, and think it's way too light. However, the IS-F seems to have base reflection....

With that, does anyone have any pictures of an IS-F with this percentage?

I know this is a matter of personal preference so all feedback is welcome.

 

Mines are 50% here the legal is 75% I get Tickets here and there when the officer start hating

Also, very nice ride! I just ordered the Vossen CV7 mode. However, the CVT's fit the car very nice too!

 

IMO window tint is a cop magnet

 

I have limo tint here in Florida and have no problems at all.

 

20% Nice and dark. Only pulled over once so far. 35% on wifes car never stopped her.

40% all around looks good. I'm definitely not a fan of no tint, and at one time I wanted a uniform tint percentage all around. But here in CA, that'll be too obvious. It did come out great for your F.

 

What color interior do you have? That plays a role as well.
A local friend has a 2014 IS250 with a white interior, while I have the 2012 ISF with black. We both have 20% and my car's tint looks MUCH darker. I'll try to get a picture of them next to each other the next time I run into him.

 

I agree with this statement as well. Mine is dark blue.

 

35% on the front. 20% on the back.

 

I just did 20% all around this past weekend and its still light due to my alpine white interior. I have seen 35% with alcantara blue interior and it was really dark. Worst come to worst, just pull the sun roof back
