Can appreciate that fella but they are known to fall off and look nasty when the mesh corrodes.
When I got mine done top of my list was getting real tips.

There have been maybe a dozen reported cases of that...
...mostly in regions or areas where elements & road salts played a role.
Also, the tack welds that hold it all together are not the strongest (I agree on that).

I'm still baffled why people call them "fake" when they're quite real. Just because they're not attached to the muffler doesn't mean they aren't real. Do people say the Ferrari California has fake exhaust tips on it?
