2014 carbon spoiler ?

Yup I had ordered mine sometime in early December (seeing how the prices was too good to miss)
But I spoke to Sewell yesterday and got the below reply:
"As of just last Friday, we're embarrassed to inform you of a recent unannounced price increase from Lexus involving the Carbon Fiber Spoiler, part number 76085-53050. This price increase is very dramatic and as a result, we are suspending any pending orders for this item until further clarification can be made with Lexus on this situation. We apologize for this inconvenience and will be refunding all monies transferred for your transaction.
We will also keep you informed as both availability and pricing should a favorable change occur, so you can make an informed decision with regards to purchasing this item in the future. Thank you for being a loyal Sewell Parts customer."
So now I'll be installing my Robson design Spoiler instead, which is identical to the OEM one apart from having no clips on the bottom, but I don't care that much now and will just try and stick it on well.

I saw one on eBay yesterday for $1250.00. Not mine, I am still trying to decide if I want to bling out my car with a bunch of carbon.
The spoiler alone would look lame, but if I did a front lip, diffuser, etc, the spoiler could really tie the room together, man.

Yea I saw the same one. Did you read the story behind why he's selling it.
Like come on dude we all know he bought it at sewell at $260 just be honest !
But that said I would never pay that much for something I all ready have rather get parts I don't have.

Fiction writing skills aside, it will be interesting to see if it sells at that price.

This makes me laugh " I recently took ownership of a 2014 ISF and when it was ordered I requested to have this spoiler included separately as I was not sure if I wanted this or an aftermarket spoiler; I decided to sell this spoiler" would lexus even allow such request? I think not lol

I put my order in the price was right if I don't get it I don't I have the same spoiler why would I pay 1k for it to be carbon fiber when I could send it out to a friend at shadow craft USA and do my original for a lot less !
And btw that looks like it's your spoiler your from Rhode Island and that seller is same.
IMO should have just stuck with the true story!
