Default Cold Weather Performance

Bought my F in late June and have been loving it ever since. I take public transportation to work every day, so the F doesn't get driven much and spends almost all weekdays in the garage. Today was the first near freezing day that I had a chance to take it out for a ride...Wow. Car feels much quicker than it usually does and I am consistently losing traction on the high end of 2nd gear. Not sure how much of the lack of traction is summer tire performance in the cold vs bump in power because of the cold - but I love it either way.

I feel the same difference in pull, especially with IHE.
Hooray for living in the Northeast

Whenever I don't drive my car for several days, the first time out feels amazing. I think you just get used to things when you DD.

But it certainly feels better when it's cool than warm.

The coldest I ever experience here is 20~22c and that's very rare maybe 3 days in the whole year

More power, less grip in the cold. Also it might be in my head but my brakes dont feel as grabby as they normally do,in the summer.....

thats nothing.... try -40*C

Honestly this is my second F and it has been nothing but a pleasure in all seasons.

I would consider the RC-F when it comes out if I wasn't completely obsessed with the idea of a 997.2 911 Turbo S

For sure this is true, that explains why best time to race is fall and spring 50-60 deg F
