contact patch on PSS?
I have an 08 with stock size tires and regularly check tire pressures and keep it at the stock recommended pressure of 36 psi cold... alignment w/in spec of toe... but why does it look like this...
where it looks like only the inner tread blocks are making contact with the ground and the outer shoulder is not? It looks like that front and rear tires...

Believe me I have read that thread through all 10+ pages and my toe is w/in the recemmonded spec in the rear... but then I saw lowrideraz' thread of his s04 and his rear tire contact patch looks like the whole tread width... I guess I'll bring it up to my alignment guy and see what he thinks...
Well alignment guy clarified, nature of the beast to handle better... and I showed the pic of lowrideraz tire and he said right off the bat, I bet that's a new tire and eventually it'll wear out to how my tire looks... and that it's important to get toe checked regularly... so I'd recommend the firestone lifetime alignment since it pays for itself bringing it in every 5k miles or so... I guess this thread can be closed and serve as an FYI thread about the regular tire treadwear as I've already put about 30k miles on this set of tires but I do mostly highway driving in my daily commute..

I haven't had any issues with wear on the rear. Only the front has been troublesome and I'm certain the root cause is the LCA rear bushing flexing. If you got 30k on a PSS or the OEM tires, you've done exceptionally well.
