I need to buy a scanner . Which one would you recommend?

A small bluetooth scanner like
this this
plus an app like Torque. Both together will cost about the same as the cheapest normal scanner.

If you don't want to mess with bluetooth then whatever scanner is least expensive should work fine.

They all work the same, do the same, but cost different. Cheapest one should be around $30.
