Default Better Handling for a '08

Hello,

I have a '08 F and I've been reading about how much better the '12's handle versus the '08's. I'm wondering if new springs and F-sport rear sway bar would get me close to the '12's, I realize I will be lacking the real LSD. If the springs won't quite do it, will BC coilovers get me closer?

I appreciate your feedback!

welcome!

notable handling upgrades:
-coilovers (bc racing and kw v3 are popular among us)
-grippier tires (go for michelin ss or bridgestone re11)
-rear sway bar (sikky or fsport)
-LSD
-2011+ steering ecu
-FIGS suspension upgrades
-overpriced chassis-tightening japanese parts

that's about it..I purchased my car with springs (tein h-tech) and the ride was harsh.
put in the extra dollar for coils, it's worth it.

additionally, if you are going to track your car, definitely look into lighter wheels (square tire setup) and track-ready brakes.

have fun

+1 with JDMV8. The coilovers will help a great deal. It definitely eases the jarring from the roads, but provides nice feedback. BC coilovers with the Swift springs is a great set up. Tires will also help. There are many members who've upsized to 275 and 285 with the stock wheels have have experienced a better, more planted ride.

Thanks for the info! I think I'm leaning towards the BC coil overs and F-Sport sway bar to start. I don't really plan on taking the car to the track but I'd like to get closer to the '13 ISF's abilities
