20" wheel/tire fitment help
#31
murph man, having the darndest time nailing down offsets as calling the Work Wheel guys in Cali wasn't too much help in finalizing the numbers for ISF fitment. They don't have any recommended sizing for 20x9, 20x10.5s with close to stock diameter tires in 245/30, 285/25. Pretty much have to lean on you guys end of day.
What's really low? I just want zero wheel gap in the rear lowered like this one:

So are my specs below too aggressive given my fitment requirements?
20x9 ET38, 245/30 MPSS
20x10.5 ET45, 285/25 MPSS
or should I be looking at pushing it to 43+ up front and 50+ in the rear?

To me you should get 20x11 +52 with 295/25 better, the 295 on 11" wheels does not look stretch.

Sorry to sound like a broken record, but you guys seriously feel that this setup won't rub when lowered like so with the chunky Michelin Pilot Super Sports?
Final final specs:
20x9 ET35, 245/30 MPSS (255/30 not avail)
20x11 ET52, 295/25 MPSS
Started with:
20x9 ET38, 245/30 MPSS
20x10.5 ET45, 285/25 MPSS
If it all checks out when I get it in 10 weeks, I owe you guys a bottle!

There's no way this sucker hasn't been rolled or trimmed (11" ET52 on 295s)
Appreciate the feedback, but this is just too aggressive or flush in my eyes so going to stick with these specs:
20x9 ET39, 245/30 MPSS
20x10.5 ET49, 285/25 MPSS

here is my adv same offsets 20x11 +52 running nitto invos lowered on Tien HTech Springs no rubbing what so ever no fender roll and no issues. Each tire is different so he most likely has a different tire manufacturer.
If I go 305 on the nittos then I will have to shave the rear fenders
If you want to be safe go ahead nothing wrong with that

You want aggressive drop with no gap, wider fitment PSS, and perfectly flush but refused to shave/roll your fenders. You can't have everything above!! How are you going to get away from hitting the fender lips, since they are still stock, when the suspension is compressed?????? Give up flush and "zero" gap if you don't want to mod your fenders, plain and simple!!

E46 M3 on 19" BBS LMs (IIRC 10.5s in the back). Carrera 4S 19x12s. GT3 19x12s. All lowered except the GT3 which is at the perfect height stock. No fenders nor trim alike molested. Why? To state the obvious, again, because widths, offsets and tire sizes were well thought out.
This isn't rocket science, though it sometimes felt like it with the ISF given how few people actually run properly fitting wheels since in the JDM crowd it feels like they're really into the "stanced" or poked out look with stretched tires. Just new to it all. Sorry if this is a bit off target for the group here.
