Default Alignment after header install?

I'm scheduled to get my Sikky Headers installed this thursday...cannot wait! From what i've seen, the front suspension and assembly is removed to do this install. Is it recommended to do an alignment afterwards?

You drop the sub frame, so yes, a post header install wheel alignment is necessary.

not true. if your mechanic know what hes doing.... an alignment is not needed. my mechanic has done about 6 isf header installs where no parts were touched to induce an alignment. i did an alignment check before and after my header install just for kicks.... no changes at all.

if you make the right marks, alignment will be super close to what it was before taking the subframe down.

As I indicated above, I disagree. We should align our cars periodically anyway because the alignment is knocked out by normal driving and especially after removing the subframe. Marking is a good idea, but certainly doesn't replace a real alignment.

ill agree to disagree . like i said with my F , an alignment check was done before and after with no change. no sense in doing /paying for an alignment if the mechanic knows what hes doing. periodically....yes i agree but many F owners are under the impression that an alignment must be done after header install. this is not true. ill draft up a diy for the method used to install headers ,safely, and does not disconnect any suspension parts or any parts that would mess with the alignment...
