I brought my Micronesian battle ship to the house yesterday. I mounted it to my roof rack and mind you it is 22' long! The looks I got while driving home was priceless. I should have mounted the go-pro to catch some reactions.

Anyone else race outrigger OC1/OC6?

Yes, I went with the Thule racks. I found a used setup from a CL member. It actually came with a bike rack but I don't bicycle, lol. I have a mountain bike I bought almost 8 years ago that I might start riding?

I just got the racks last week and yes they will stay on most of the time. I paddle as much as possible so taking them off and on would just be to much wasted time. I might be picking up another OC1 so I will be hauling 2 20'+ boats on the F LOL!
