Todd,
Let me know if you or the guys at CIN may want to check out my car at all. Didn't know this was going on. I have the full HKS system on my car and CIN did the install! I don't have headers but have been contemplating it. I am literally almost right around the corner from CIN (~5 miles). My car is at the body shop right now having the Arkym diffuser and trunk spoiler installed but, I am supposed to get it back tomorrow. I could even head over there Saturday if you are going to be up that way. Feel free to send me a PM.

Westley,

Bobby was telling me about your car when we did the baseline dyno. I am headed back up there Saturday for the final dyno session - definitely come by and check us out if you can. Would be a great way to get some head to head sound clips comparing the exhaust setups.

Sounds like a plan. And thanks for going first on the headers. Now I have someone to go to that at least has one install under their belt. Although, I think they were telling me that they had done another header install a couple of years ago on another local F.

Was the reason for 3inch to match the axle back HKS? 3inch only flows 70% of 2x 2.5inch pipe.

Yeah I had to take the dive somewhere - there's not a lot of F experience in our area. The header install actually went pretty quick and easy today so no worries so far.

Is it me or do your headers look "shorter" than normal?

That is correct. Have to step back down to the HKS Y pipe anyway (70mm = 2.75"). I don't expect to see this exhaust make as much as Borla or Joe Z since it is not a true dual setup. However it should be within 10HP or so and the sound is worth it for me. I have had the HKS axle back on for a couple of weeks and I love it! It's actually about 3 - 4 dB quieter than stock inside at highway speeds (60 - 80mph) with zero drone at all. I'm sure this will change a bit with the headers and mid-pipe though.

I think it's just the angle I took the picture. They are the typical PPE headers with black ceramic coating instead of polished
