Gearbox ECU reset
I recently had my car serviced. I asked the adviser why sometimes when the car is cold and I go round a corner, the gears seem to hold on for that split second longer than it needs to (normal driving).
He wasn't sure and after checking there were no codes. He had the technician reset the ecu for the gearbox and asked me to drive it to see if it still occurred.
It's still doing it but nothing that is too troubling as there are no codes. It must just be the programming. Seems to be fine once everything is warmed up.
However, as evidence of the ecu learning driving styles, my car now is so much more responsive. Admittedly since the reset, I've driven it harder. I also run the car in manual mode more regularly as well. It almost feels like the car's throttle response off the line is in sports mode now. It was really bad before.
The real test was when my wife jumped into the car with me in the passenger seat. She asked if I had done something to make it more responsive.
WIN!!

I had the same transmission issue and concerns. after a handful of trips to the dealer and reading here it seems to be a normal thing. my trips to the dealer were to help my case if I do have a tranny issue down the line
