Cool new member (335-->isf)

Hello all,

I just picked up an 09 ISF, i love it so far,
i came from a e90 n54 (daily driver) that was just demolished by a big f-350
here is a pic of the car i picked up and a pic of 335 in good condition and when it was crashed,

only complaint-
e90 aftermarket support A+
isf aftermarket support C-
Where are the superchargers etc?

This is my daily driver but i still plan to mod to my liking
PPE HEADERS
JOEZ EXHAUST OR BORLA
JOEZ INTAKE OR OTHER
KWV3
HRE p40SC
NEW STYLE LED HEADLIGHTS
TINT

I look forward to taking what the community has to offer and to also give back

questions- anybody know of a good shop to do header installs in CENTRAL PA? i am lazy and do not want to attempt the install

Nice car and welcome to the fam. JE Import Performance in Baltimore MD is the best spot around here to do headers for sure, they have done over 40 IS-Fs I believe. I just went up there this weekend to check out the shop.

$650, a bargain. They also have Sikky headers there if you want to go that route (they manufacture them on site).

Welcome sir, nice choice. As a new ISF owner I would recommend you attend the biggest ISF meet on the east coast that I am arranging with another owner. It is located in Dover, DE. Hope you can make it....below are some links for your reference. BTW, there are a few ISF's coming from PA as well.

If you can't make up your mind on mods, come to the meet as there will be every exterior/performance mod for you to check out

Also if you do multiple things at once (exhaust, headers, etc) they will give you a pretty good deal on the labor. One of my friends is going there to get headers, exhaust, sway bars, and intake all done in one shot and they quoted him $800

sounds great! so you are saying they are the ones that make SIKKY HEADERS? well pff might as well just get them to do everything then and just purchase sikky instead of PPE!

guys,

SIKKY HEADERS+JOEZ EXHAUST to loud?
how bout SIKKY HEADERS+BORLA? is that a bit lesser than the above?

Coongrats and welcome to the F'n club. Also take the advice and come to the biggest east coast IS-F meet. It's sure to be a lot of fun.

I think what JDMV8 has is extremely loud (ISS QES + Sikky), but sounds great. I heard Sikky + Borla this weekend and it's tame until you get on it.

I've had THE JOEZ exhaust alone as well with it paired up to the SIKKY headers. I've also run the car with SIKKY headers and stock exhaust/JOEZ exhaust and Borla exhaust so I think I've tried enough variations for my final conclusion.

SIKKY headers or PPE it really doesn't matter. You can't go wrong with either especially if JE does the install. They are top notch!

So anyway, here is my summary. Go with JOEZ exhaust if you don't plan on doing headers. It sounds great! If you want a mean sounding car and can tolerate loud as well as some vibrations and drone without any rasp then you'd be fine with the SIKKY/JOEZ combo. Go with the SIKKY/Borla setup if you want the same performance and also some reduced weight and you'll have a more tolerable car without making any sacrifices. I've been very happy with my setup. Just wish I didn't have to swap back to the stock catback exhaust yearly for my state inspections.
