Well the biggest variable is that the 2011 has LSD, nothing else is special about it.
ISF's are pretty traction limited for the 1/4 on stock tires, so a good driver vs an average driver will yield different results. But hypothetically speaking, it is faster due to the LSD. The suspension changes/tweaks are negligible for the 1/4.

The variability between individual units can be pretty interesting. Lexus has not changed the power rating, the gear ratios, the tire sizes, or the weight of the car over its short life. Expecting the car would be slower is a result of individual performance differences, not design differences.
