Default true or not?

I heard that 2011 IS F is slower than previous years. Is that true? What are the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times for 2011?

Not true. The 2011 is definitely faster around a road course than any of the previous models.

This is coming from a couple of online reviews. I was talking more about straight line performance. I know it's faster on the track.

Well the biggest variable is that the 2011 has LSD, nothing else is special about it.

ISF's are pretty traction limited for the 1/4 on stock tires, so a good driver vs an average driver will yield different results. But hypothetically speaking, it is faster due to the LSD. The suspension changes/tweaks are negligible for the 1/4.

The variability between individual units can be pretty interesting. Lexus has not changed the power rating, the gear ratios, the tire sizes, or the weight of the car over its short life. Expecting the car would be slower is a result of individual performance differences, not design differences.

I did a couple of runs with my brother's 2011 ISF (I have a 2009). There is absolutely no difference in straight-line performance between the two model years.
