Are used IS-F's that hard to come by in the low 30's???
We've been looking at the Lexus Vehicles for sale section on this site and it seems these cars rarely pop up.
Looking at 2008 IS-F's in good condition around $30k price point and seems hard to find a good one. Doesn't have to be local as we'll travel for the right car but must NOT be a salvage car or have a checked history/past. Mileage is pretty flexible as long as it's not 80-100k range. Same goes for mods, color, etc.
Are these cars really holding resale value that well or is the market just slim on inventory?
thanks!

I think a 2008 ISF with 80k+ miles will be in low 30's. There aren't that many choices. Even cars with average miles with bad carfax are in high 30's. I was looking at the prices two weeks or so ago.

The low $30K range is not realistic for a car that is clean, not ragged out, and not over 80K miles. Maybe next year.

In So Cal the ISF is not coming up a lot. The ones that do are new(er) in the high $40k+ range or private party asking more than people will pay.
The cheapest local ISF I've ever seen was a year ago at a Mitsubishi dealer. 08 red with 80k miles for $36k but it was super well used. That car sat for ages so I think it had some issues.
I bought my 08 with 50k miles from a dealer for $38k a year ago. And when I now check prices things seem to be identical or higher than a year ago even with me being at 65k now. So my gut is that the ISF market in general is stalling since there is a limited number of cars out there.
I would be up for selling my car but only if I can find a 10+ replacement.

I put mine up for sale. I love the car and really don't want to sell it. In fact, now that I am getting text, calls and pm on the car I am thinking of keeping it. You also need to remember these cars are nearly 70k new.

it's keeping pretty damn good resale value to a lot of cars ive been looking at lately. if you are looking for an 08 with 100k + miles for the cheapest price, i would rather look at a diff model car the next step down with low miles. i feel that's not the right away to buy a car.
