Picked up a 2011
Thank you everyone for your help. I went ahead and picked a 2011 IS F over the weekend. I will post pictures a little later. I drove a 2008 and the suspension seemed just a little too rough even on the freeway.
I looked at a lot of cars but was leaning towards Lexus because of reliability. I just don't want to deal with issues that German cars have. I had a BMW before and have friends who drive or drove German cars and I don't think I know of anyone who doesn't have issues. Unfortunately, there are not that many choices as far as high-performance cars go made in Japan but I am very happy with what I got
I think the only other car, which is faster is a GT-R (among Japanese).

Congrats on your purchase and welcome!
I have yet to ride in a 2010+ but is the suspension that big of difference?! I personally did not think the 08 was bad at all. Now you really got me wondering, lol.

Congrats and welcome bro! I too drove a 2008 and felt the same way. I drove a car that had only 13,000mi and it felt like the suspension was blown and I could feel every bump, crack, rock, or pebble in the road. Bad experience I would say. But I ended up buying a 2012 because of all the good reviews and opinions of others mentioning the suspension had changed significantly since then. Good purchase thus far! Post up some pics of your ride bro!

I pretty much bought the 2011 vs earlier models because of the suspension. On the freeway 2008 was bobbing up and down, the 2011 felt relaxed and I did not even see a hint of that.
Don't feel bad about the GTR either, myself and a friend went to sit in one. The interior was falling apart with 8,000 miles, and the salesman just got back from "hot-rodding" the car.
2011 ISF is a good choice!
