Here is thread on that specific controller. Read post #23. I call B.S!! If it that easy and that cheap to make those gains everyone would have had one already.

its not the same as apex. apex is a throttle controller. that toms might work for 40 miles then the ecu knows somethings up and goes back to the settings it was at before. complete waste of money

Are we talking about throttle controllers or fuel map controllers?

...Not too concrete though. Anyone other than sickISF learn about the fuel controller?

well i guess imma buy it and let yall know i can get a good look at a t bone by sticking my head up a bulls a$$ but wouldnt' u rather take the buchers word for it...lol one way to find out for myself i guess.. and becaseu i live in a perfect climate (hawaii) i prolly should make a lot more power then most people would in the mainland. well i at least hope ill lyk what my rates goes. as of now i have k n n intake ppe headers and a joe z exhaust. for performance and when i add the map sensor hope it makes more then what i hope it would just hope that it holds up during driving and the ecu don't change ne thing

The only way to keep any gains is to then also modify O2 sensor readings to make the ECU think target AFRs are within stock spec.

I certainly wouldn't try this hardware without a wideband appropriately placed before all cats. That and maybe a knock sensor & a set of headphones to help verify engine health. It could be that while you are able to temporarily lean things out for more power, you might lose any gains quickly if the ECU starts to retard timing due to knock.

Hmmm, I suppose I could derive the fueling map with a wideband, RPM lead, and TPS lead.

RPMxTPSxO2Volts in a table within a Arduino setup. Use that to then drive.....

Nope... I'm building a piggy back ECU now.

OP, good luck, you'll need it.
