Sweet... Ur F looks very mint and I'm sure the GTR will be kept the same as well... Good decision I usually get the urge of switching too but then I talk to VtotheJ and then decide to keep it. lol

It seems like the GTR is the next car for many ISF owner.

Well I told myself sometime before I would not get one and here I am.

The decision was completely based on what the GTR can do and it no way indicates any dissatisfaction with the "F".

The "F" is an awesome car and I already miss it.

I'd love to keep both but would not make sense for me.

I feel the same way when leaving the F. It was in no way a reflection of my dissatisfaction with the F. For the $, it was the BEST car imo. It just that compared to AWD and 500+ hp, it could no longer compete. Test driving an AWD launch with my new "S" put the same silly grin that I had when I used to own the IS350 when I test drove the F for the first time.

I think the only time I would sell the F if i was strapped for cash. It can still fetch a pretty penny due to high resale value and rarity. I don't know how people keep their cars for so long (5+ years)... I guess the ISF will be one of those. The GTR is a beast in a different league.... come to think of it Kashan I think you should upgrade

This is exactly why I love this board.

No Fanboi "this car is the best in everything" thinking.

I have driven one actually. I drove one for an entire week when a friend of mine was out of town and he let me borrow his car for the week if i detailed it for him for free.

Sure...its massively powerful...insane performance. But that's about it. If you want the exotic car killing performance, sure, it fits the bill.

If you don't mind me asking OP, how much did you pay and what was the mileage on it? I too might consider a GTR real soon.

Sure no problem.

65K, Premium model, 24,600 miles, 1 owner, all required service done/completed at Nissan, PPI and consult III report by Nissan excellent meaning no error codes or oil temp overheating, Brakes (very expensive) and tires at 75% or so.

I'll back Just F Me to a certain extent. I respect the GTR for what it is and what it can do, but it just isn't my cup of tea. If raw performance was the only thing that mattered, none of us would have gotten the ISF. There are more powerful sport sedans on the market for a similar price.

That said, I DO consider it an upgrade over the ISF, objectively speaking, and I'm happy for the OP that he was able to get such a special car.
