Lexon or Autocoture lip install
Do you guys know how either of these lips attach to the front bumper. I'm guessing that they use nuts and bolts, however, what about 3M tape? Do they require a lot of the tape?
It's such a PITA to remove it sometimes...

AutoCouture can be applied using 3M tape. It's already a tight fit as is on the chin of the bumper. I'm against drilling holes for any reason. I've had the 3M tape on my lip, and that that will simply not move.

its not totally necessary, but most have used 3M tape to fill in the gap areas distanced from the bolts.
Yes you will need to drill holes in the bumper. When you test fit the lip, it will become very evident.

i'm confused, can someone else chime in on whether this lip uses pre-existing holes or are new holes drilled?

There is no pre-existing holes in your bumper?
Simply have a look at you bumper.
There is flimsy skid plate tabs at the very leading edge, but these in no way can be attached to your lip and handle 100mph speeds and they are way too far away from the predrilled holes in the lip. The only bolts that might work are the ends... on each side.
You will have to remove the bumper to install the lip and drill and reinforce with some sort of washer or banjo bolt system and then reinstall the bumper and lip together.
