OK guys. I just got off the phone with Robin (scheduling manager) for the hotel. HEre is what she said.
The track is closed off for a private event (could be interesting to see what that is) all weekend. However the parking area I showed is still open. The problem is she booked the hotel conference room for 900 business people for a meeting on Saturday night. This will make normal casino parking extremely tight.

She did say that the guards may still allow a single person up in the bleachers for a overhead view as I stated but it will be up to his discretion so to speak.

As far as hotels near cecil, I would recommend getting a hotel in Glascow Delaware near peoples plaza. IT would be 15 minutes from the track and about 45 minutes from dover. also there is middletown Delaware which is the halfway point between dover and elkton (elkton is where the cecil track is) it is on 896

sweet, 3pm from vermont, hmm. should be near my place by 10pm. Darbs, best way to get in DE from your way is to cross the DE Mem Bridge since it is $4 vs the comodor barry bridge at $5. unless you found a better way around phili.

Also be very careful on I95 and rt1 in Delaware as friday nights is "ricer night" they all meet at the I95 truck stop and pay into races then use the streets as their race tracks. you cant miss them they ar emostly 4 bangers, although one guy has a gutted green SC400 with a SC. If you read this along your trip have fun and enjoy bro. If you plan a rest stop once you enter DE let me know and ill meet you if you like, just pm me your estimated time and ill pm you my number.

fair warning, I usually have my legal limit of 420 on me but I dont smoke when driving. I wont share if you ask on here but maybe in person DE law requires a prescription and registration with the state, both of which I am legal on.

sonic, we should meet up. Im in wilmington at work (next door to winner audi) but live in Bear. I know Ive seen you around as im very car oriented (i notice every vehicle and remember people that way).

negative sir, here is your route to save traffic and time. I295, I 95, then to RT1 (slight traffic at rt1 interchange due to construction but it moves along well enough). take rt1 till you cross the bridge (big bridge cant miss it) once you cross the bridge you can pay the $2 toll or simply take the exit on right at the base of the bridge. this will put you on rt13 past all the traffic. IF you want to get back on rt1 feel free at any point for $0.50 up to north Dover, however at that point you might as well stay on 13 as the hotel/casino will be on your right after say 5 miles once entering dover proper. If you choose to take rt1 with that $2 toll, you can take "last exit before toll" at north dover and get on rt13 there. that second toll on rt1 is at the racetrack and you will be wasting your money as your exit is literally 1/2 mile past it.

like I said, if you get off i295 onto 13, you will deal with the wort traffic in my state, so while in new castle county Delaware avoid rt13 but south of the C&D bridge it is fine.

Agreed. There are a couple tolls that can be avoided, although some might not be worth skipping due to the risk of splitting up the caravan. Rt. 1 is a straight shot with while 13 has traffic lights. But as Dream said, Rt 13 after getting off of the Del. Mem Bridge is not a good idea. Take 95 to rt 1. It would be where you met me for the White Marsh meet by Christiana mall.
