us canadians have the drl on all the time.
so is it possible to switch the 100% brightness led pin in the harness to the drl location to have the 100% brightness on the auto setting?
or am i thinking about this wrong?

No. You are thinking this wrong. The DRL uses a relay to react to a low voltage drop from the DRL module and turn on. It is basically your high beam voltage reduced in half....which dims the light so you don't blind people in the daytime.

Its very easy to get the LEDs at 100% brightness all the time, mine are as well as several others. You just have to switch the right pins.
Yes you would have to do the fuse tap to run them while the switch is on auto otherwise the way calitrisc did and what I did the Hewitt car is make it where you have to have your running lights switched on to have them on and when headlights are on they are on too both 100%
Fuse tap method is IMO a better method but more intrusive work but is more true to oem for 2011+
yea if you want that complete oem type instal lol. i like being able to turn my lights all the way off though if i want to. and didnt have to do any wiring.
