Washed my car this morning, and the S4Play Diffuser flew the coup. Gone, all that''s left is a scar in the paint where is was mounted and the holes where the screws were

Geez Lou, what were you using, a fire hose? Haha, just kidding. Seriously though, I have one of the newer model S4Play diffusers and it is held in to place by 6 screws and some double-sided tape. I can't imagine it coming off during a car wash.

It didn't come off while I was washing the car, it was GONE before I started. I just hadn't noticed it before - DUH

^ Sorry to hear... Your car is too fast bro, thats why it flew off LOL. Hopefully s4Play can hook a brother up.

FML I didnt use any double sided tape when I installed mine, so I guess I got me a project for the weekend. Thanks for the heads up guys!

Got my new diffuser today, and no double sided tape. I inquired about it, and they say they have never supplied it or done any installations utilizing it.

Loving mine so far, but will check it regularly to make sure it doesn't fall off! :-)

I didn't use double-sided tape to install mine, but I can tell you you're gonna need all 8 screws they give you even though it has 6 pre-drilled holes.... it didn't sit flush on the ends until I added and additional screw on each end.

My brother kept saying I turned my bumper into Swiss cheese

I didn't mean to suggest that they supplied it. I decided to use some when I installed mine as an added precaution. I also didn't use each of their exact pre-drilled spots.... I put in the first few screws and tape to hold it in the exact place that I wanted it, and then I put the remaining screws on the places where some gaps were forming.

Short of getting the thing molded on to my bumper, I'd say it's on there pretty good.

Got the diffuser and installed yesterday! The updated models are much better and constructed stronger for sure. Took a pic and thought people would like to see Thanks S4Play for sending the new one over.

Got mine on today. No issues installing. There were 2 extra screws in the bag so I added them between the 1st and 2nd fins on each side to get a flush mount. Turned out great.
