"If you keep the leather soft and supple, you'll reduce the wear"
thats what she said.
I regularly clean and condition my seats and to be honest I don't think it makes any difference to the wear that I have. I think it is simply the way I enter and exit the vehicle.
If anyone wants to know I weigh 85kg
Will try to take a photo for reference (not of me but of the wear)......

Apparently...everyone has forgotten about the "hardway" - Lexus going to the ends of the earth promoting durability, has nothing to do with the customers entry/ exit and physical body size. It is meant to remain in tact through the entire ownership cycle
I don't think body size has anything to do with it. Its just the way you enter/exit the vehicle. I pretty much rub out the same two spots on all my cars. The spot digger08 showed on the seat and about halfway up on the seat back where my shoulder rubs on the way in. When I first got the F I got leather covers made that were black with a blue stripe up the middle. They were sweet...
Lexus leather is very soft and comfortable compared to leather such as in BMW's because it's so thin. It just doesn't hold up compared to most german car's leather.
Regardless of how you enter/exit the car, the leather should not be looking scratched or discolored. What's the point of owning a $60k car if you gotta distort your body to enter and exit? That's also why I didn't get a Lotus.

This is very true and even more so when you have to pay >$100K for the car like we are robbed down under!!
