I usually go to all the home games, but might just go to the Notre Dame game this year. I have a new baby.

Are you guys on soonerfans.com forum?

Sorry, I know this got off topic. Love my black tips!

Looks great!

I plastidipped my exhaust tips months ago and they've endured the high heat of summer and harsh storms and even a long road trip with no problems at all. I had 4 coats sprayed on and that did the trick.

The worst that can happen is excess plastidip flaking off from the inside of the tips, but it shouldn't melt from the exterior.

Then again I have a stock exhaust system so I can't say for sure if this can be said for modified systems, but we are talking about plastidip here. If it needs retouching, just peel it off and respray!

I'm afraid the black tips may just be seen as "dirty" on my matador red. On a clean white/pearl, it looks fantastic!

Congrats on the kid! ND has been sold out for months, so I couldn't get squat. Nah, I'm on LandThieves.

I plastidipped my exhaust tips back in June and they're still holding up. That's after long road trips and rough weather conditions, and it still looks fresh.

THREAD REVIVAL!!

How does the exhaust tip "setup" come off? Is it all one piece that you just unscrew? It's been ****ty weather since I bought my F and I haven't had a chance to get under the rear bumper and check it out.

Thanks streetx.

I might do the plastidip but I'm gonna see if I can find a place to powdercoat them for a good price.

^^^ I've seen the tips powercoated gloss black and they looked good! But if the plasti-dip held up all this time without any touch up and peeling, this will be a much cheaper way.

Yeah I know, but I don't mind paying $100 or so for a nice glossy black finish
