I doubt they would let that go under 45k, personally I wouldnt pay over 40k but depending where you are pricing is different and USB & Black ISFs have in my research been the most expensive.

It is not a bad deal assuming everything checks out in person. I'd probably be willing to pay $43K for that, and given their list price, that might be a deal you could make. I don't know how the guy posting above thinks he could get it under $40K, but maybe he has some crazy negotiation skills that I don't have. That would be a ridiculously good deal though, and probably a loss for the dealership.

I've tried negotiating with premier motors they are pretty firm with their price and they price their cars HIGH imo. I missed out on an 09 blk isf for 37k (from dealer) so I def think 40k is the right price point on that but don't even bother they'll prob give you $500 off their list price at most. Once you give them education info abt your research they'll stop replying to you Haha

This was maybe a month or so ago..from capistrano vw. The reason I never pulled the trigger was bc the salesperson I was working with kept saying he was giving me.his best price. He never negotiated the price with me. Instead he stayed firm all the while the price listed kept dropping. If he had offered me anything close to 37 when it was originally listed at 41 I would have pulled the trigger. Every week the car would drop 1k in price yet he wasn't willing to negogtiate at all when I spoke with him. I didn't like that esp since the price kept dropping. I wish I had bought it at 37 but at the same time I really didn't want to give him my business.

so premier motor sport is firm on their price? I was planning to try to talk them down to 42k. then out the door would be 46k. dont know if their listing is out the door price or not tho.

I ask because I jumped on the deal when it went to $36,995. When i picked it up they were telling me there were 2 other people interested. Just wondered if it was anyone from the forum. They were firm on the price, and i thought it was more then fair in my reserach

Congrats on that it was def a great deal. Crazy thing is, I offered 37500 on it when it was priced at 38000 and the salesman said no..the whole "priced right" thing was rather idiotic imo..but the car was def a great deal at 36995

I was searching on all internet sites for deals and went to a few dealerships. There are a few good deals to be had just be ready to "jump" when you see one, also do your legwork before going i.e. vin, carfax, warranty history, current market value etc...

I got my 08 USB with 22k miles on the clock for 36k, thats the only reason I would only pay only 4k more for a car one year newer however with more miles. At second thought not even sure if I would. 2010 seems to be there next year where there is really something worth paying more for (USB nav integration). I never said it was a bad deal, just not a deal I would make. If you can get it for 42-43k and the pricing in your area suggests that to be a good deal then pull the trigger. All regions have different pricing and certain colors are more expensive than others.

Ya the bad part is that some 1 said the dealer with USB color won't lower their price and if they will max will be $500. So gonna be hard to get that for 42 or 43k. But mybe ima try and see since I saw the ads a lot of times
